Renovation: Kitchen Installation.

Designed and Fitted Modern Kitchen and Integrated Appliances.
The original kitchen was a modern design, but it was small and was separated from a large, dark rarely used rear dining room. I designed and drafted a large modern kitchen to be located in the dining room which would utilise the space better and provide a great family room and social space, where the family could cook, eat and spend time together. I then installed the high spec kitchen which would incorporate integrated appliances and would provide a fresh, modern twist to a period property.

The design and installation included:
  • Plans were drafted and concept images were created.
  • The kitchen was then sourced from Ashford Kitchens who confirmed all of the original dimensions.
  • Two velux roof windows were installed for additional light.
  • Ceilings and walls were decorated.
  • Floor was tiled with 600x600 porcelain tiles supplied by Mandarin Stone.
  • 1st fix electrics was carried out and sockets were located.
  • Water supply and waste pipes were installed.
  • All floor and wall units were installed.
  • All appliances were fitted into units.
  • 2nd fix electrics were connected to fuse box.
  • Quartz worktops and spashbacks were supplied and fitted by Silestone.
